GATE RORY MERCURY ANI*STATUE

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Kotobukiya’s world-famous Ani*Statue collection is adding another unique and popular property, the currently airing anime series Gate!

Based on the ongoing fantasy novel series by the same name, Gate tells the story of Japanese Self-Defense Forces traveling to another world and trying to make peace with the strange inhabitants there.

Among the unique characters on the other side of the Ginza portal is the first character coming to life as an Ani*Statue, the dark and mysterious RORY MERCURY! An ancient demi-goddess who appears as a young girl, Ms. Mercury wears the traditional gothic lolita-style garb of the apostles of the dark goddess Emroy.

She is captured in a cute but deadly pose, leaping off a rocky base to make an attack with her gigantic halberd! Rory’s complex red and black dress has multiple skirts with ruffles, folds, and intricate layers, and the rest of her outfit consists of matching stockings, boots, wrist cuffs, and a puffy hair ribbon.

The apostle’s long black hair whips around her to give a sense of motion to the presentation, and despite the fact that she’s wielding a massive weapon Rory gives you a cute little smile to show you she’s on your side.

Sculpted by Mitsuru Hoya, Rory Mercury stands just under 11 ½ inches tall (1/7 scale) balanced carefully on her rocky georama display base. Embrace the darkness and get Rory to guard your collection!
