About THE RYUO’S WORK IS NEVER DONE! AI HINATSURU ANI*STATUE
A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The next beautiful Ani*Statue from Kotobukiya takes you to a world of competitive shogi matches in The Ryuo’s Work Is Never Done!
The light novel/manga/anime franchise features the Ryuo champion tutoring a young prodigy in the game, and now the newcomer is captured in an adorable presentation with the AI HINATSURU Ani*Statue!
A boisterous but ambitious nine year old girl in the third grade, Ai is obsessed with the game and will do anything to improve and win, leading her to seek out Yaichi Kuzuryu and secure his mentorship. You can see her youthful energy here as she crashes through a tournament, sending multiple objects flying through the air!
The girl wears a super cute blue and white school dress with matching shoes and hat, the last item falling off of her head as she trips over everything in sight.
Ai’s hair dances buoyantly around her sprightly form with the translucent purple tips of the tendrils capturing the light beautifully; they also match the purple accents in her clothes and the tassels on the box of shogi pieces floating by her face.
The aspiring shogi master is accompanied by a variety of accessories that evoke the atmosphere of the series from the shogi board at her feet to the folding fan she received from her master, and her love of the game is reflected in her cheerful expression and innocent smile.
Sculpted by Mitsuru Hoya, Ai Hinatsuru is approximately 7 inches tall (1/7 scale) in her unique pose mounted on a specially designed shogi-inspired display base. Take home an adorable disciple of your own today!
